Founder & Director
Angelina Raheja
Angelina Raheja, a Canadian citizen and devoted mother, is the founder and driving force behind the KinderRise vision. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and brings a diverse professional background in real estate, corporate training, and operations.
Her commitment to early learning grew from her own experience as a newcomer to Canada, where limited access to childcare created real obstacles for mothers striving to build both family life and a career. Inspired by these challenges, Angelina set out to create a centre that supports families of all backgrounds with safe, welcoming, and affordable early learning opportunities.

Where Learning Begins with Connection
Our Core Pillars
The KinderRise experience is built on five guiding pillars that shape every decision, program, and interaction. These pillars reflect our commitment to family engagement, inclusion, and pedagogical excellence—ensuring that children, parents, and educators grow together in a nurturing and research-informed community.
Our Philosophy
At KinderRise Academy, we believe that the earliest years of life shape the foundation for lifelong learning, relationships, and well-being.
Our philosophy is built on three central commitments:
Children thrive when families are active partners.
We view parents and caregivers as a child’s first and most important teachers. By welcoming families into every stage of the learning journey, we create a shared understanding of each child’s needs, strengths, and potential.
Diversity enriches the learning experience.
Every culture, language, and family story adds value to the classroom. We celebrate differences as opportunities for children to develop empathy, respect, and a global perspective.
Educators grow alongside children and families.
Pedagogical leadership means that our team reflects, researches, and evolves in response to the community. Educators are encouraged to question, adapt, and share knowledge, ensuring practices remain relevant and inspiring.
This philosophy guides every decision—from curriculum planning to classroom design—so that KinderRise remains a place where children are empowered, families feel supported, and educators lead with curiosity and care.

About Kasia Baniak – Director of Family Engagement & Compliance
Kasia, a dedicated mother with a background in sociology, brings both personal insight and professional focus to KinderRise Academy. She is currently completing her Early Childhood Management Certificate at George Brown College (anticipated December 2025), combining academic knowledge with a deep commitment to supporting families.
Her own experience navigating the challenges of securing quality childcare revealed how difficult it can be for newcomer and local parents alike to find care that truly supports the whole family. This inspired her to help shape KinderRise as more than a preschool—a welcoming hub where parents can access guidance, resources, and community at their own pace. Through educational workshops on topics such as sleep routines, potty training, and parenting strategies—offered in multiple languages when needed—Kasia envisions a centre where mothers and caregivers feel informed, supported, and connected, fostering stronger family well-being and mental health.
